Research and analytics
We engage in a variety of research projects in the urban settings and employ a large range of research methods and instruments: in-depth qualitative ethnographies, quantitative surveys, focus-group discussions, GIS mapping and drone photography.
Community engagement and activism
We pride ourselves in working closely with local communities and engaging them in as many stages of research and project implementation as possible. We actively employ the method of community design charette to analyze the locations for interventions and develop design solutions together with the residents and stakeholders.
GIS Mapping, Analysis and Visualization
We have strong expertise in GIS mapping, analysis and visualization and we work closely with experts from the GeoHub project based at the Central European University. We use ArcGIS and QGIS software.
Urban and Landscape Design
We do not only analyze, we also actively engage in the design of public spaces. We have a room in our university's Maker Space building next to the wooden and metal workshops, where we make our own street furniture and public art.
